Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. peaches
    sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Slice peaches; cover with sugar. Let stand several hours. Pour into 9 x 12-inch pan. Beat remaining ingredients and pour over peaches. Bake at 400\u00b0.
