Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. all-purpose flour
1 3/4 c. shortening or lard
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 egg
1/2 c. water
Preparation

With fork or pastry cutter, mix together first four ingredients.
In separate dish, beat remaining ingredients. Combine two mixtures until all ingredients are moistened.
Mold with hands until mixture is smooth.
Makes approximately 5 single crusts.
