Homemade Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. instant coffee (heaping spoons)
1 whole vanilla bean

Preparation

Bring ingredients to a boil and boil for 5 minutes (watch pot so the mixture doesn't boil over).
Remove from stove.
Add 1 pint of the cheapest brandy you can get.
Bottle and wait 30 days before using.
