Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
3 eggs
1/3 c. corn syrup
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add mashed potatoes and mix slightly beaten eggs.
Mix well.
Combine with syrup, milk, salt and vanilla.
Pour in unbaked pie shell.
Bake in hot oven (425\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat and continue baking in moderate oven (325\u00b0) for 35 to 45 minutes longer.
