Oreo Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pkg. Oreos
    4 c. milk
    4 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 envelope Dream Whip
    2 envelopes plain gelatin
    1 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Roll Oreos into fine crumbs.
    Put 1/2 of the crumbs in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup milk.
    Set aside.
    Cook until thick 3 cups milk, 4 beaten egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Remove from stove and add gelatin.
    Cool mixture.
    When cold, add 4 beaten egg whites (beat until stiff) and Dream Whip which has been mixed according to directions.
    Pour entire mixture into pan on top of cookie crumbs.
    Top with remaining crumbs.
    Refrigerate until firm and ready to serve.
