Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. raisins
4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. each cloves and nutmeg
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 c. flour
1 c. walnuts
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs.
Mix soda in applesauce and add to sugar mixture.
Sift spices with flour, adding raisins and nuts to batter before the flour.
