Swedish Christmas Punch(Julglogg) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Aquavit
    1 (26 oz.) bottle dry red wine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 cinnamon stick
    5 cloves
    4 cardamom seeds, crushed
    1 orange peel spiral
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine Aquavit, wine, sugar, spices and orange peel in saucepan.
    Heat but do not boil.
    Light with a match and pour burning into glogg glasses or heatproof cups containing a few almonds and raisins.
