Spanish Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 (5 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can English peas, drained
    2 cans condensed tomato soup
Preparation
    Brown onion in shortening; add beef. Grease a casserole dish and place half of noodles in dish. Put in half of meat and onions, then a layer of seasoning. Add 1/2 can peas and 1 can of the tomato soup. Repeat layer. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Serves 6.
