Mom'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. cocoa
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar, shortening and eggs.
    In another bowl, mix the cocoa with hot water to make paste, then add enough sour milk to make 2 cups of cocoa mixture.
    Sift flour with soda; alternate milk and flour into creamed ingredients.
    Add vanilla. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
