Ingredients

6 carrots
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. orange rind (if desired)
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Slice carrots thin.
Melt butter and remaining ingredients, cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Uncover and cook 5 minutes longer.
Serves 4.
