Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    9 tsp. instant coffee (not decaf)
    3 c. water
Preparation
    Bring ingredients to boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Remove from heat and when pan is lukewarm, add 1 quart 100 proof vodka and 3 teaspoons vanilla. Stir and cool. Best to store for 3 weeks for better flavor.
