Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising meal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1/3 c. Crisco oil
    1 egg
    3/4 c. cheese, grated
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 to 3 hot peppers, finely chopped
    milk
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Add milk to thicken to consistency of regular corn bread.
    Bake in a greased pan until brown.
    Serve with Spanish tomato rice and fried beans.
