Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. corn flakes, finely crushed
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    5 or 6 bananas
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
    1 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping
    12 cherries, cut into halves
    1 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix crushed cereal, margarine and sugar. Pat in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake 10 minutes; cool. Prepare pudding as directed on package.
    Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
    Slice bananas and arrange on crust.
    Spread pudding over bananas; top with pineapple to edges of pan.
    Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    Just before serving, garnish with cherries and whole cereal.
    Makes 12 to 16 servings.
