Curried Chicken Kebabs(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. plain low-fat or nonfat yogurt
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. each: curry powder, chili powder, ground ginger
Preparation
    Mix marinade ingredients in a large bowl or heavy plastic bag. Add 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
    Cut into pieces. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight, turning several times.
    Drain chicken.
    Thread chicken on skewers.
    If desired, thread mushrooms, parboiled onion chunks, peppers, cherry tomatoes or other vegetables of your choice onto the skewers as well.
    Place the skewers directly on the grill, 4 to 6-inches above hot coals.
    Cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning skewers twice, until done.
    Best served with a rice pilaf or couscous.
