Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. potatoes, thinly sliced (4 or 5)
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 onion, chopped fine
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter on low and saute onions.
    Add flour and milk and mix together and cool until slightly thick.
    Butter baking dish and put a layer of potatoes on the bottom.
    Add white sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
    Add grated cheese.
    Layer until dish is filled; top with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour and thirty minutes.
