Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. bell pepper, in small strips
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 c. diced celery
    1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
    1 can French-cut green beans, drained
    1 can English peas, drained
    1 small jar pimento, drained
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 to 1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl.
    Combine next 6 ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
    Pour mixture over the vegetables and chill before serving.
    Can be doubled for a large crowd.
    Serves 6 to 8.
