Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Combine first five ingredients thoroughly.
Fold in pecans.
Pour into
pie shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0; bake 25 minutes longer. Yields 6 servings.
