Salmon Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pink salmon, drained
    1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
    3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1/4 c. finely crushed saltines
    2 Tbsp. self-rising flour plus some for coating
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. milk
    vegetable oil
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Remove skin and bones from salmon; flake salmon with a fork. Saute onion in margarine until tender; remove from heat and stir in salmon and everything else but the oil.
    Form into 1 x 1 x 2 1/2-inch croquettes or small balls.
    Coat with additional flour and deep fry in hot oil (375\u00b0) until golden brown.
    Drain.
