Beef And Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef (lean)
    2 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. sherry
    1 c. cottage cheese
    8 oz. cream cheese
    3 green onions, chopped (1/2 c.)
    1/4 c. sour cream
    8 oz. wide noodles (medium may be used)
Preparation
    Break beef up slightly and saute.
    Drain away fat.
    Add tomato sauce, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Bring 4 cups water and 1 tablespoon salt to boil in large kettle.
    Add noodles and bring to full boil.
    Boil 2 minutes, stirring.
    Remove from heat.
    Cover and let stand 10 minutes.
    Drain and rinse in hot water.
    Put 1/2 the noodles in shallow baking dish.
    Mix all remaining ingredients (except meat) and pour over noodles.
    Add other 1/2 of noodles and pour meat mixture on top.
