Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (3 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
    2 Tbsp. lime juice
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 c. seeded and chopped tomatoes
Preparation
    In small saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except tomatoes.
    Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
    Stir in tomatoes.
    Serve warm with hamburgers, fish, tacos, tostadas or tortilla chips.
    Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
