Pinto Bean - Sausage Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. Polish sausage, diced
    4 (15 oz.) cans pinto beans, undrained
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 tsp. chili powder (optional)
    2 c. tomato juice
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    2 c. picante sauce (heat range your choice)
    1 tsp. crushed oregano leaves
    2 medium bell peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large cooking pot.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Yields 12 cups.
    Serve with additional picante sauce, if desired.
