Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Sift flour 3 times with salt.
Add, alternating with sour cream to which soda has been added.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, vanilla and almond extract.
Pour in greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
