Simply Delicious Southern Fried Chicken Livers - cooking recipe

1 lb. livers
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning
1 pt. oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning
1 qt. oil
Preparation

Wash livers and drain. Sprinkle with salt.
Pour milk into small bowl.
Put flour into small paper bag.
Dip livers in buttermilk. Sprinkle with seasoning, then shake in flour, shaking off excess.
Pour oil to 1-inch depth.
Heat to 350\u00b0.
Fry livers, a few at a time, turning once to brown on both sides.
