Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white syrup
1 c. water
2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
1/2 to 1 Tbsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix together sugar, syrup and water. Cook at 230\u00b0. Add peanuts. Cook at 290\u00b0. Add baking soda and salt. Mix until it starts to foam. Pour out on a lightly oiled cookie sheet. Loosen as it cools and stretch it. Turn it over.
