Butterscotch Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft bread cubes
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2/3 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. raisins
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place bread crumbs in buttered 2 1/2 cup casserole dish.
    Beat egg slightly.
    Stir in butter, milk, brown sugar, seasonings and raisins.
    Pour egg mixture on bread crumbs. Bake until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
    Serve warm.
    top with light cream, if you like.
    Serves only two.
