Apple Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    8 to 10 apples
    1 c. water
    nutmeg to taste
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cut the apples into a 13 x 19-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with 1 cup water, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, flour, nutmeg to taste, baking powder and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Spread batter over the apples. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with whipped cream.
