Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. cinnamon applesauce
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg or 1/4 c. substitute
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Lightly spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
    In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    In a separate bowl, whisk together shortening, cinnamon applesauce, sugars, egg and vanilla until shortening breaks into pea size pieces.
    Add flour mixture to applesauce mixture. Mix well.
    Fold in oats and then raisins. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets 2-inches apart.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes. Remove and place on cooling rack.
    Makes 36 cookies.
    Per serving contains 60 calories and 1.1 gram fat.
