Luscious Lime Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    1/2 c. water, cold
    dash of salt
    4 egg yolks, beaten
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen limeade concentrate
    few drops green food coloring
    4 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    lime slices for garnish
    1/4 c. whipping cream, whipped for garnish
    pomegranate seed for garnish (optional)
Preparation
    In top of
    double
    boiler soften gelatin in cold water. Add dash
    of
    salt
    and egg yolks; cook and stir over hot (not boiling)
    water
    until mixture is slightly thick.
    Remove from heat
    and
    stir in concentrate.
    Chill, stirring occasionally, until
    mixture
    mounds slightly when spooned.
    Beat egg whites until
    soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar, beating to stiff peaks.
    Fold
    in gelatin mixture, then whipped cream.
    Add few drops
    green
    food\tcoloring.
    Pile
    into cooled pastry shell. Chill until
    firm.\tTop with whipped cream and lime slices and pomegranate seed (optional).
    Makes 1 pie.
