Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/3 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    1/4 tsp. almond or 2 Tbsp. lemon (which I prefer)
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each.
    Combine dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed butter mixture.
    Add flavoring; mix.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0; cook for 10 minutes, then reduce to 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
