Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter; add brown
    sugar.
    Let
    cool.
    Add egg and rest of ingredients.
    Add
    1/2
    cup
    chopped nuts, if desired. Spread in well-greased 8
    x
    8-inch
    baking pan. Then sprinkle 1/2 cup chocolate chips over
    the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
