Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. cornmeal
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. milk
3-4 green tomatoes, slice 1/4 inch thick
vegetable oil
Preparation

Combine flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper and milk in a medium bowl. In a deep pan, heat oil on high.
Dip tomato slices, one at a time, into batter.
Fry quickly, turning once with tongs. Remove from oil and stand up, like a wheel, to drain and avoid becoming soggy before serving.
