Double Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. flour
1 c. oats (quick, uncooked)
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. milk
1/3 c. apple juice
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. peeled, chopped apples
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Grease 12 medium muffin cups or line with paper baking cups.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients, except apples, mixing just until moistened.
Gently fold in apples.
Fill cups 2/3 full.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 1 dozen.
One muffin = 160 calories and contains 24 gr. carbohydrates, 3 gr. protein and 6 gr. fat.
