German Steak Tarare - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. lean beef sirloin or tenderloin, ground twice
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 egg, beaten separately
    salt and pepper to taste
    rye bread, buttered
Preparation
    Mix beef with beaten egg.
    Add chopped onion and salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve immediately on buttered ry bread.
