Catfish Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. green tomatoes, quartered
    1 c. red or green pepper, chopped
    2 qt. onions, chopped
    1/2 c. pickling salt
    1/2 to 1 c. jalapeno pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes, onions and bell pepper.
    Stir in pickling salt and let set overnight.
    Rinse with clear water and drain well.
    Make syrup.
