Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2/3 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Heat chocolate and shortening in 3-quart saucepan over low heat until melted.
    Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Mix in remaining ingredients.
    Spread in greased rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
    Bake until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan, about 30 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
