Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. sour milk
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    pinch of salt
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour cherries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Add baking soda to sour milk, then stir flour, spices and milk alternately into creamed mixture.
    Simmer cherries on stove and sweeten to taste.
    Cool cherries; drain.
    Add cherries, vanilla and nuts to creamed mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
