Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. melted margarine
1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1 (32 oz.) pkg. loose hash browns, thawed
1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Combine cheese soup, sour cream, onion, margarine, salt and pepper.
Mix well; fold in hash browns and pour into baking dish.
Toss cornflakes with margarine and sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour or until golden and potatoes are tender.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
