Apple Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
    cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    peeled apples
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir well.
    Place half the dough in the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch pan and spread as thin as you can.
    Cover with a layer or two of sliced apples.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon. Put dots of dough over the apples.
