Strawberry Cream Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. pecans, broken small
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve strawberry gelatin in hot water. Add frozen strawberries. Let stand until strawberries soften. Add pineapple (with juice). Add pecans; mix well. Pour half of mixture into Pyrex dish. Chill until firm. Spoon sour cream over firm gelatin; spread evenly. Pour remaining gelatin mixture over sour cream. Chill until firm. Cut into squares before serving.
