Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes
6 slices fried bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. flour
1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
dash of white pepper
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation

Boil potatoes in their jackets.
Peel and slice thinly. Slowly fry bacon in skillet. Drain on paper. Saute onion in bacon fat until golden brown. Blend the flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and dash of pepper in with the onion over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat.
Stir in water and vinegar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir in carefully the potatoes and crumbled bits of bacon. Remove from heat, cover and let stand until ready to serve.
Serve with breaded pork loin (thin slices).
