Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oatmeal
    2 c. bran (health food stores have this)
    1 c. sunflower oil
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. shredded wheat
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1 c. boiling water
    1 pkg. dark brown sugar
    5 eggs
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over cereal; mix thoroughly.
    Add oil and brown sugar; mix again.
    Add the buttermilk, eggs, soda and salt (optional); work in flour gradually.
    Cover; let stand in refrigerator.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
