Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 (9-inch) pastry shell, baked
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk, scalded
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a medium bowl, cut the powdered sugar into the peanut butter until the mixture is well combined. Crumble half of the mixture into the bottom of the pastry shell.
