Golden Sunbeam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
10 to 12 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. cold water

Preparation

Sift first 4 ingredients together 3 times; set aside.
Beat egg yolks until very thick and fluffy.
Gradually beat in the sugar.
Add the next 3 ingredients, then fold in flour.
Mix gradually.
Pour into 10-inch tube pan, ungreased.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Invert pan to cool.
