Butterscotch Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk or cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Melt butter in pan and add brown sugar.
Cook until sugar is melted, stirring constantly.
Remove from fire and add milk and vanilla.
Mix.
Add confectioners sugar and mix thoroughly.
A little more sugar or milk may be added if necessary to gain the right consistency to spread on cake, or if a little more frosting is needed.
