Wash Pot Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 gal. water
20 lb. potatoes
8 gal. tomatoes
4 gal. green butter beans
6 hens (about 6 lb. each)
3 lb. stew beef
5 lb. onions
1/3 c. red pepper
1 c. sugar
2 gal. corn
Preparation
-
Boil chickens and discard bone and skin.
Cook butter beans and blend in blender, all except 1-quart.
