Democrat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix (reserve 2/3 c. batter)
2/3 c. sugar
20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
3 Tbsp. oleo

Preparation

Mix cake as directed on box.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 13-inch pan.
