Aloha Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. softened margarine
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1 c. (2 medium) mashed bananas
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except coconut and nuts.
Blend at low speed until dry ingredients are moistened.
Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in coconut and nuts.
Turn into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan which has been greased on the bottom.
Bake for 60 to 70 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Remove from pan immediately.
Cool thoroughly before slicing.
It's best made the day before.
Makes 1 loaf.
