Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    2 sticks margarine
    1 c. or more raw shelled peanuts
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil together 5 minutes; remove from heat.
    Add baking soda and vanilla.
    Pour syrup mixture over 2 gallons popped corn with unpopped kernels removed.
    Put in 250\u00b0 oven in a large roasting pan for 1 hour.
    Stir popcorn and syrup every 15 minutes.
    This will keep in covered container for weeks.
