Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bunch broccoli
    1 small onion, cut into rings
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 slices bacon, fried crisp
Preparation
    Combine broccoli, onion and cheese in a large bowl.
    Mix mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and seasoning.
    Toss.
    Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour before serving.
    Add crisp fried bacon just before serving.
