Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. cherry juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
8 oz. cream cheese
12 maraschino cherries, cut up
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Combine pineapple and sugar and heat until dissolved. Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
Add to pineapple.
Add cherry and lemon juice.
Cream the cream cheese until soft.
Put cut up cherries into it.
Add to pineapple mixture.
Let chill until slightly firm.
Whip the cream and fold into the pineapple mixture.
Mold and chill.
